The 学生健康中心 is a confidential reporting resource; however, California law requires health practitioners to report details of injuries resulting from domestic violence, 性侵犯, 以及其他罪行 involving patients they treat to a local 执法 agency.

The 学生健康中心 is a Confidential Reporting Option

This means when students disclose incidents of dating/domestic violence, 性暴力和跟踪(或其他犯罪), the 学生健康中心 cannot report any 信息 about the disclosure to anyone at the University, 包括第九条官员, without a student's consent and signed authorization.

This is an important right because it means students can seek assistance 和支持 from the 学生健康中心 without triggering a University investigation that reveals student identities or that disclosures have been made.

Although the 学生健康中心 does not notify campus authorities of disclosures, 法律规定的报告可能适用于披露.

All 学生健康中心 (SHC) personnel are mandated child abuse and neglect reporters (as are other 加州大学洛杉矶分校 employees). In addition, depending on the role of the workforce member who assists a survivor (e.g., 心理咨询师, 医疗服务提供者或健康教育工作者), 虐待老人, 可疑的伤害, 或其他法律规定的报告可能适用.
